Meridian Nature
Toybox was delighted to help bring the latest Meridian campaign to life in collaboration with The Monkeys Aotearoa and Eight Productions. The campaign enlists the help of Nature, a character who represents the natural world. Arriving on planet earth to inspire environmentally conscious behaviour, she uses her super-human powers to reward or discipline New Zealanders based on their actions.
Directed by Jamie Lawrence at Eight, this was a challenging project for Toybox due to the high bar set by both director and creative, and that we only had 5 weeks to turn around 50 x visual effects shots, some of which involved highly detailed CG animation.

Toybox's Animation Director Andrew Newland and Lead VFX artist Leoni Willis led the charge to complete all the shots in time for Nature to be released upon New Zealand to spread the message of clean green energy use.
